On Saturday, Dan walked in the Washington DC MS Walkathon. Afterwards, Olivia and I met him downtown to view the Cherry Blossoms. So beautiful. We try to go every year. It was very crowded down by the tidal basin, but we were able to get some beautiful pictures over by the capital where a line of Cherry Blossoms Trees allowed for some perfect pictures.
We did have one little ‘tragedy’…Olivia and Dan were sitting on the edge of the wall on the Tidal Basin when all of a sudden I heard a splash and well, poor little baby doll went for a swim. Olivia started to cry and being the kind of Daddy Dan is, he rigged up a little contraption with our fold- up stroller to fish ‘baby’ out of the river. Everyone watched as the scene unfolded and gave Dan a cheer and a clap when baby was rescued. LOL
