Well, I’m not that motivated to post when I don’t have pictures to share. Our computer is still down, so until Dan gets around to getting us a new one, I can’t download any pics off our camera to upload here. Anyway…
So this weekend, we worked ourselves to the bone! Saturday morning we had a yard sale that ended up being pretty successful! We had non-stop traffic from 8am till 11am. We promptly shut the ‘doors’ at 11:30am and called it a day. Nothing re-entered my house…it was all carted off to Good Will. I can honestly say that there is nothing in my house that I don’t want to be in here; which for me is a great accomplishment. I tend to be a bit of a pack rat!
Since it was such a beautiful day on Saturday we continued to work outside around the house. We cleaned off our front and back porch, cleaned the garage and basically got ready for the Spring/Summer planting. Not sure why that took us all day long…but it did. We were exhausted, so we rewarded ourselves with our favorite pizza place, Ledo’s later that night.
Sunday, woke up to a day of rain. However, that didn’t stop little Miss Olivia from participating in her very first race. I was supposed to run a 5k that morning, but skipped it; however, my friends, Tammy and Jen were awesome and ran it in the pouring rain! Although, in spite of the rain, we still took Olivia up to the fair grounds to participate in the Kids Fun Run. She was looking forward to it, so rain or shine, we couldn’t miss it. She ran with Meagen, Sydney and Lex. They all did AWESOME! The whistle blew and off they went. Dan ran behind Olivia and said she didn’t stop once and ran full force. Granted it was only .6 miles, but they kids had a blast…they even wore numbers! They were all very proud of themselves, as were we. They all received trophy’s and Olivia’s sits in a place of honor on her dresser. She’s very proud of it. I have some great pictures of the kids running that I’ll have to post later. 
Later that afternoon, we spent all day painting the guest bathroom. We finally finished and I love the color, palm breeze. Still need to do the cabinets and put the bathroom back together…hopefully, we’ll finish it up this week. And again, once I have pics, I’ll post them.
