Sunday was a full and busy day for us. I woke up bright and early for a 5 mile run with Amy and Tammy. Afterwards, we met the ‘boys’ and kids at the Ashburn Firehouse for the monthly pancake b-fast they host. We never been, but for only $6/adult and $4/child it was a pretty nice b-fast and something fun to do. Besides, supporting our local fire fighters is always a good thing to do.

Later in the afternoon, Dan and I took Olivia to see The Lion King at the Kennedy Center on Sunday. We went with Colin, Amy and Andrew. We had a great time and the show was a visual feast, to say the least. Surprisingly it held both Olivia’s and Andrew’s 100% attention through the entire show. Although our seats were as far up as you could get, they were right in the center and they were actually perfect. Dan and I saw The Lion King many many years ago in NYC before we had Olivia. They must keep updating the show because it seemed even more fantastic then I remembered it. Olivia’s favorite part was when Simba and Nila got married and had a baby – can she be any more girl? LOL
