The Army 10-Mile race on Sunday. This has been a goal of mine and my girlfriends for almost a year now. Amy reminded me today, during our 7-mile run, that this month is the anniversary of my very first 5k last year … I’ve come a long way! Hopefully, I have everything ready….the new shoes (broken in), runner’s gliding gel, energy jelly beans, and I have been wearing my ‘shin’ splint around with a bag of frozen peas to be sure it doesn’t give me trouble during the run! Our goal is to finish strong (and run the entire way – no walking). We’re ready! Wish us luck!
