I love Virginia. I love where we live in Virginia, in particular, because in only 15 to 20 minutes we can be here … pulling over to the side of the road to take in this breathtaking scene. The best of both worlds in my mind….country and city living all within a 1/2 hour drive. Love it!
I also love the fact that Dan pulled over to the side of the road before I even could think about asking him to stop …. he saw it too. Olivia was sleeping in the car, so Dan made me be the ‘subject’, here I am trying to look serious as ordered by the photographer.
I’m glad we stopped and not just wizzzzed on by by towards our destination (even though we were late) … life is too short! “Stop and take pictures!”
