Another good reason to have a dog ……
Olivia, being an only child, is a little shy and doesn’t readily join already established play groups with children she doesn’t know. When we went to the winery for Father’s Day, none of her friends were able to come, so she was a little pouty that she didn’t have anyone to play with.
There were a group of kids playing around our table and I kept coxing her to join them…but she wouldn’t. A few minutes later, the group spotted Rosie and all ran over to pet her. Olivia jumped up and ran over and started telling the kids all about Rosie. At that point, it became apparent that Rosie is our little fury friend facilitator….all kids are attracted to cute lovable dogs – so kids come to Rosie which allows Olivia to break the ice and make new friends. Love that! Thanks little Rosie!!!
