Ran a 5k on Sunday with Amy and Tammy. Olivia did the kid’s Fun Run. I haven’t ran in months, so I was very surprised at coming in 6th for my age group and actual #1 for the other 39 year-olds in the race (albeit only 7 other of them, lol). My time was the fastest 5k I ever did – 28.49 seconds. It felt great and now am looking to be sure I have at least one race to run every month this Fall/Winter.
Olivia loved her Fun Run and received a little medal for her efforts. She enjoys running as well. Can’t wait until she’s a bit older and she can run these races with me. I see girls running with their Mom’s all the time – so can’t wait to experience that with her!
