This summer, Olivia joined the swim team. We finally found a team that could accommodate our working parent’s schedule. She had her first time trials last weekend. She did awesome; although she was down on herself for coming in last on two events. We tried to remind her that this was just to set her own time … and even when you look at who she was swimming against – she’s so petite, they all have an advantage just because of their size – mostly 10 year olds. So we are working on her attitude, but she seems to like it and her technique on the strokes are very good!
