One action I have consistently been able to keep up with during my morning routine is writing in my journals. I think what has made it easy for me to keep up is that each journal has a specific purpose and only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

One List a Day

This is a 5-year journal … I’m on my 3rd year.  Although for some reason I largely skipped 2019, I’ve been more consistent with entries for 2018 and 2020.  It gives you a question or topic to list 3 things for … I like the prompts and it has been fun reading back my entries for earlier years.

The Five-Minute Journal

I’m almost done with my 2nd journal and have really enjoyed the thoughtful questions and intentions it asks you to set both morning and evening.  There is also an app version of this journal that I may check out when I finish this one.

Rifle Paper 5 Year Journal

Unfortunately Rifle Paper no longer sells these so I linked an alternative journal.  I’m currently on Book 3 of this journal set.  I use it primarily to list the activities I did that day.  Interesting to note, my year 3 has been quite boring for the past 3 months given quarantine.

100 Days of Happy

I recently picked up this journal from one of my favorite illustrators, Evelyn Henson.  I have a few pieces of artwork from her and I just love her style.  She has inspired me to try my hand at water coloring as well.   I use this journal to record happy moments in the day that I want to remember.  Most of it’s been used during quarantine, so I think years from now when I look back at this time I’ll be happy that I had this daily reminder of the little things that brought me joy.

100 Days of EHappy Journal

A Katie Daisy Planner

I primarily use this to enter in the Bible Verse each day.  I do find it amazing that each randomly picked verse is usually exactly what I needed to hear that day.
