Amy, Tammy and I ran a 10k on Valentine’s Day down in Alexandra, Va. My time wasn’t my fastest, in fact, I think it was my slowest (1 hr 9 min). I couldn’t seem to get my stride going for the first 4 miles, but the last 2 I really picked it up…I guess it was too late, too soon.
Funny thing is, while looking at my past 10k times, my fastest 10k was 1.07 minutes and it was the race I ran all by myself in the summer AND it was the race that I got stung my a bee right before I started! Go figure!
